For email consultations, yes, for phone consultations it is not necessary, but it will be helpful to know what area or situation you want to focus the consultation.

For custom rituals: YES; in Palo Mayombe and Santeria everything starts with a consultation.
A consultation is required before Yaya Maria can offer you any custom ritual work.
It does not apply to spiritual tools and other items that will be offered in the store.

Months after the consultation, Yaya Maria will not be able to recall the specific details of your consultation session.
Yaya Maria has an accent, English is not her native language, sometimes she can talk fast trying to convey all the information to you, if that happens, please let her know, she will not be offended.

Consultations are only refunded if Yaya Maria cancels them, not offering you spiritual work or not telling you what you wanted to hear are not grounds for refunds.

Yaya Maria sees her consultations as clearing the layers of an onion, many times she has to clear and release spirits and energies around you before she can get to the bottom of your problems.
But you have to allow her to clear the layers because if you hold down to it, you will not allow the spirits to communicate with Yaya Maria.
In other words, you must be willing and open to receive all messages from the spirits.
Prepare your questions ahead of time, have a pen and paper ready to write notes during the consultation.
Try to be relaxed and comfortable; clear your mind of the worries of the day, clear your heart and will of your own expectations.
Plan for your time accordingly, try to find a place alone and undisturbed. Lunch breaks or driving from/to work are not the best places for consultations.
Do not schedule a consultation for a time you will be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

In-person consultations must be scheduled directly with Yaya Maria via email or phone.
Existing customers have all our numbers and know how to get in touch with Yaya Maria.
New customers need to purchase the Phone Consultation service in the store and request to schedule an in-person appointment.
This is done for security reasons because Yaya Maria can not give my home address randomly to anyone.
For security and privacy reasons, Yaya Maria does not schedule in-person consultations for new customers on weekends or evening hours.

If you decide to cancel your order, you will receive STORE CREDIT for your total order amount valid for 1 year after the cancellation date.

The Refund and Cancellation Policy is part of the Orisha Ashe Terms of Services you have to agree to when you place your order.

If Yaya Maria cannot make a connection with you, or if the spirits advise her to do so, she will stop the consultation and will either reschedule or cancel the service and refund your full payment.
